On the 3 and 4 March 2018, Senada Residences collaborated with PurelyB on sharing healthy living tips as guests enjoyed a weekend of harmony, wellness and festivity held at The International Gallery @ Alya Kuala Lumpur.
Over the intimate two day Chinese New Year celebration themed “In the Mood for Spring”, guests tried their hands at creating homemade health goodies at workshops conducted by our very own PurelyB team.
The first day of the event saw guests learning some new home remedies from Health & Wellness Director (Naturopath) Amanda Teh, as she shared the importance of gut health and demonstrated how to make your own “Detox Remedies” made using simple ingredients found in the kitchen.
The two main “shots” were Aloe Vera & Pineapple juice (a crowd favourite!) and a Turmeric Gut Tonic. Even the kids could not contain their excitement going up to the stage to get a closer look at the different ingredients blending together!
The following day, co-founder and Health & Wellness Director, Marissa Parry conducted a workshop teaching guests how to make their own healthy snacks as well as homemade body scrubs. Guests rolled away and made nutritious Bliss Balls and learnt that snacks can both be delicious and healthy even when made using simple ingredients such as dates and nuts. Participants truly enjoyed the whole process as they put their hands to work.
Through the interactive and engaging workshop, Marissa also demonstrated how sustainable living can extend out of the kitchen, as participants learnt how to create body scrubs using simple natural ingredients such as coffee and cinnamon. Marissa’s workshop was truly one-of-a-kind as it was completely zero-waste! Guests were delighted to be able to bring home their handmade goodies, a bag full of Bliss Balls and a glass jar of their body scrubs.
Guests were enthralled by other activities lined up on both days, including an exciting performance by 2-time World Champion Lion Dance troupe, Kun Seng Keng, and an enchanting performance by contemporary acapella group, Colour of Voices. Feng Shui and Property Talks were also part of the featured activities for the weekend. “Capturing 2018 with Prosperity” was presented by Professor Master Joe Choo, President of the Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences (MINGS) since 2008. Some early bird guests were also treated to a complimentary yearly luck reading.
Dato’ Seri Matthew Yeoh who is the Chairperson of International Real Estate Committee, ASEAN Legal Alliance, a Barrister and maven with extensive diplomatic and business networks in ASEAN and China shared on “How Can Malaysian Real Estate Development Benefit from the One Belt One Road & High Speed Rail from Singapore to China”.
The event was held at The International Gallery at Alya Kuala Lumpur, where guests were also able to experience the show unit of Senada Residences – a multiple award winning development. Senada Residences was recently awarded at the iProperty Development Excellence Awards 2017
